Rudbeckia Golden Daisies

Rudbeckia hirta ‘Golden Daisies’ is a bold and cheerful flowering plant known for its fully double, golden-yellow blooms with a rich, sunflower-like appearance. Flower heads reach 8–12 cm across and are borne on upright, sturdy stems, making this variety ideal for both cut flower use and impactful garden displays. The blooms appear from mid-summer through to autumn, lighting up garden beds with their radiant colour and dense texture. 

In the garden, ‘Golden Daisies’ are perfect for cottage borders, wildflower plantings or mass planting for a striking effect. Plants grow to 60–80 cm tall and are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators, contributing to a healthy, biodiverse environment. 

As a cut flower, the blooms are valued for their vibrant colour, long stems and extended vase life. They pair beautifully with both fresh summer arrangements and more rustic, autumn-themed bouquets. 

Transplant seedlings into full sun and well-drained soil, spacing them 30–40 cm apart. Rudbeckias are drought-tolerant once established and benefit from deadheading to encourage prolonged flowering.
